This coming 4 year old mare is good size and a real looker. Besides that, she comes from super strong bloodlines - her dam, Mountain Girl is a Spotty Crop daughter and is out of Santana, a Foggy Mountain daughter who was Bareback Horse of the Lakeland Rodeo Association Finals as a 3 year old.
Every stud we have gotten out of this mare is a producer. Our own MX 125 Earp has raised us amazing futurity colts that we have mostly won with - and his offspring are producers as well. MX 23 Black Knight of Pete Carr, NFR horse and breeding stallion, MX 342 Buckingham now with Broken Heart Rodeo in Utah - breeding stallion, MX 571 Frosted Crop - futurity winner and now with Francis Rodeo Stock as a breeding stallion.
We bucked the dam to Black Mountain several times in the bareback, and she was good and then she went into the brood mare pen.
Black Mountain will be excellent for the brood mare pen, or to start with riders as well, she also has the right sire for producing buckers as Night Stalker is a maternal brother to NFR Straight Jacket, sired by Sparky's Night Hawk.

This is his first dummy trip, and even though we had a clicking malfunction, he still wanted to buck.
The dam, MX 108 Shade of Black bucked in the Pros for a while before we brought her back home to keep raising babies. She is a maternal sister to NFR MX 100 First Kiss and sired by NFR producer Spotty Crop.
The sire to this young stallion is Making Dreams, a stallion we purchased from cousin Dean McDonald. He's had great success with his program and a stallion he calls Indian Ink. Making Dreams is an own son of his and the dam is a Grated Coconut mare.
