This stallion has everything you'll
need to produce buckers in your
program, plus you could probably buck him too, he's from a line of gentle handlers.
He's still got one more year in the futurities as well.
This 2 year old stallion is pictured beside one of our 5 year old geldings that is around 1400 lbs, so this young guy is already built.
His dam, My Oh My is a Kenny's Baldy daughter out of David's favourite mare, My Maria. My Maria gave us NFR MX 48 Alberta Child with Pete Carr and NFR MX 374 Mary with Bridwell. Tim also had MX 124 Adalida, another full sister that would have made it to the NFR, but got injured. We still have a full sister to these gals, plus My Oh My in our breeding program, but have sold other mares and stallions out of these two gals and My Maria that produce buckers.​
Futurity competition colt - 2 year old
This stallion is Alberta Smoke, the sire. He is a full brother to NFR Momma's Boy and another stallion we sold at the Breeders Classic that Joe Simon bought and called Canadian Smoke. I think Joe has a picture of him on his wall. These guys are sired by NFR producer Spotty Crop and their dam was Grey Mum, a Foggy Mountain daughter out of a clyde cross mare we called Tighten Down - she bucked at the Ponoka Stampede in the novice bareback as a 3 year old, and she is the logo on our horse trailer. She was an amazing mare and is foundational in our herd.

Rodeo Bling, a stallion is producing
bucker after bucker in California with Brett Moody. He was a 1/4 point out of the #1 position in the World Finals in Vegas in the WFA as a 2 year old and then came back to win it in Vegas as a 3 year old.
Rodeo Royal, also another breeding stud is producing amazing buckers. A
daughter of his will also be at the Breeders Classic called Navajo Colours. He is now with Logan Dorankemp. We sold a sister to this filly down in Texas and a gelding that is bucking in Utah. Another gelding, Rodeo Colours topped the Breeders Classic Sale as a 2 year old going to Pete Carr and has just started bucking in the Pros. There is NFR on every side of this filly back through four generations. You won't go wrong with this gal, she has all the breeding, and she BUCKS!

This 2 year old filly is out of a maternal sister to NFR Black Coffee and sired by a grandson to Night Jacket, also he's a maternal brother to NFR Straight Jacket. The 3 year old sibling, 234 Special Dancer, to this filly is currently #1 in the world standings, UBHA with over $11,000 won. Another sibling, MX 734 Rain Dancer bucks now with HiLo Pro Rodeo in the bareback and they usually win or place on her. This gal has size and she bucks. She still has one more year of futurities she can compete in. She's starting to look more like her grandsire Spotty Crop with the appaloosa markings.

This 2 year old filly has NFR on both sides of her pedigree. The sire, Cajun, a stallion we used from Cousin Dean McDonald also produced NFR Catwalk that was with Andrews Rodeo Company. Night's Not Over is a mare we futuritied with and put in our program out of Not Half Bad, an INFR Bareback Horse of the Finals. Half Moon, the great granddam is also the dam to NFR Mr. Worldwide of Rory Lemmels. .

Here is another filly off Cajun, a stallion raised by Cousin Dean McDonald, who also raised NFR Catwalk of Andrews Rodeo Company out of him. The dam, Night Night is out of a Night Jacket grandson from Sparky called Night Stalker. Her dam is a maternal sister to NFR Black Coffee and sired by NFR Chirrikawa. This filly has some excellent bloodlines that will take her places.

3 year old colts
Some of these youngsters have one or two rider trips on them to get them going. It helps the amateur and novice riders get on a horse that is young and doesn't have the power yet of that of a mature, seasoned horse, enabling these young cowboys to get a good feel of what they need to be doing without dealing with the extra strength. We spend a lot of time with our colts, so they are also fairly quiet in the chute for the cowboys. Plus our young horses get an idea of what THEY need to be doing with new-to-them tack and riders.

He has a maternal brother we sold at the Breeders Classic, MX 040 Fire & Smoke, that was put into the Miles City Bronc Futurity as a 3 year old and he was outstanding. We gave this 3 year old gelding a first time rider trip in the Bareback and then again a few months later in the Bronc riding. He did good both times, and looks like he'll get stronger as he goes. We only dummied him once as a yearling. Once he figured out what to do, he stacked up and jumped and kicked.
